Since its construction began, it has attracted significant attention in the industry as a green building made entirely of steel structure. Upon completion, the China State Construction Steel Structure Building became Shenzhen's first fully steel-structured green building. The China Construction Steel Structure Museum, with its special mission of making "the aloof steel structure approachable to the public, inspiring confidence and enthusiasm for the development of green buildings and industrialized construction," has also gained popularity among citizens.
